Now lets learn to recycle correctly, but also to donate unnecessary clothes to charity, or to collect material, turn it into something new, and build beneficial projects for the world and the environment, including the people around us.

ECOhero is a game full of simple match3 fun combined with informal learning about the circulation of materials in our lives. Waste can have many faces. The game inspires the youngest to change, it presents simple ideas on how to implement projects, either at school or in its surroundings.

New challenges of waste sorting are gradually appearing directly on the map, from simple and common ones such as paper to more advanced such as electrical waste. Progress is accompanied by opportunities to implement projects in the simulated world of the game. Collect garbage from the forest, implement an e-scooter project, or organize a swap of unnecessary clothes and toys. There are many possibilities, you just need to start seeing things that you have the opportunity to change.

ECOhero may be your first step in changing the way you think and perceive waste differently - as a material that circulates and people are able to adjust this circulation in a positive direction.

In this release, we focused on improving the player experience as much as possible. First, we implemented a new method of matching waste in the match-3 minigame – swipe. Until now, players could only click on two fields to select a pair, but now (while still keeping the original method), they can simply touch a field and swipe in their preferred direction. Second, we added several new animations and visual tweaks to please the eye and to better clarify what is going on in the game. We hope that these visual cues will help the player understand more about waste management and circular economy. Third, we improved the music of our game as much as we could. Now, the music and in-game audio are much more responsive to the player's actions, creating a better and more immersive experience. Lastly, we fixed some minor grammatical errors and in-game bugs.
